Event brought together important representatives of the sector
Aegea was the company that represented the private sanitation sector in the Workshop “Perspectives for the Sanitation Sector in Brazil” of FIESP (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo), held on March 11th. Rogério Tavares, vice president of institutional relations for the company, was one of the panelists at the time.
The event was attended by important representatives of the sector who addressed the main problems and possible solutions for basic sanitation in Brazil. Rogério Tavares highlighted Aegea’s efforts and investments to offer more dignified and healthier lives to the population and the benefits that can be generated by the new regulatory framework for sanitation.
“The approval of the New Sanitation Regulatory Framework will be beneficial for everyone, it will attract new investors to the sector. It is a good and new regulation, generating new revenues, resulting in better services and quality of life for the population ”, highlighted Rogério Tavares.
Also participating in the panel were Jorge Assalie, manager of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), Mauricio Endo, Lead Partner in Government and Infrastructure at KPMG, Marcus Vinícius Fernandes Neves, President Director of the Brazilian Association of State Sanitation Companies – AESBE.
