Aegea is present at an event that discusses technological transformations in the country with the Infra Inteligente Program.
The technological revolution has finally reached the basic sanitation sector and, with this, gains in operational efficiency and investment optimization. These are the items of the case that Aegea Saneamento addressed in the panel “Utilities and Urgency in the Adoption of New Technologies to Survive in the Digital Age”, on October 30, at Futurecom 2019.
To tell a little more about Infra Inteligente, Wagner Oliveira de Carvalho, leader of this digital transformation at Aegea and panelist at the event, highlighted the challenges and preliminary results of the implementation phase of the project over the past year.
Using the most advanced in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, some of the group’s concessionaires have already had their active parks mapped and digitized for the creation of digital twins, digital copies of the physical facilities, which allow to improve processes, reduce costs decrease maintenance times. The preliminary results obtained have provided the technical team with a more complete view of operations, offering the necessary inputs for more assertive decision-making regarding asset management.
The Infra Inteligente Program aims to incorporate data intelligence and technology to manage efficiency gains, bringing the ability to align expectations and transform the future of the entire segment. This is a process that does not happen overnight, but undergoes structured work, which can be sustained gradually to evolve with each cycle.
